This standard specifies the basic parameters,technical requirements,test methods,inspection rules as well as marking,packaging and storage for belt conveyors (hereafter referred to as conveyors). This standard is applicable to conveyors which are used to convey loose bulk materials such as lumps,particles and materials in unit form. Other types of conveyors may refer to this standard.
