This standard specifies the conventional moisture regains commonly used for textile materials. This standard is applicable to textile materials,the moisture regain may be used in calculating the conventional mass of textile material, linear density of yarns, mass of per unit area of fabric, and the fibre content in quantitative analysis for a mixture of multicomponent.
