This standard specifies the classification of concrete and reinforced concrete sewer pipes, raw materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking，package, storage and transportation, product certification, and so on. This standard is applicable to concrete and reinforced concrete sewer pipes which are manufactured by methods of centrifugal moulding, overhang rolling, core vibration casting, vertical extrusion and other casting methods. This standard is applicable to pipes for rainwater, sewage, water diversion, farm drainage and irrigation, and other gravity flow pipes. The production of concrete and reinforced concrete sewer pipes for other uses (such as, to meet the requirements of special anticorrosion) shall be agreed by suppliers and purchasers, and may be implemented in accordance with this standard. Pipes manufactured according to this standard are applicable to trench construction, jacking construction, and other construction methods.
