This part of GB/T 12704 specifies the method for determining the watervapour transmission of fabrics by desiccant method. This part is applicable to types of fabrics with a thickness of less than 10 mm,and does not apply to fabrics with a water-vapour transmission rate more than 29 000 g/(m2·24 h).
