This standard specifies terms and definitions of launch vehicle (LV) in aspects of universal purpose, systems, trajectory, loads and dynamic characteristics, aerodynamics, aerodynamic heating, mechanical environment, thermal environment, electromagnetic environment, natural environment, structure system, separation system, engine, pressurization and feeding system, control system, measurement system, propellant utilization system, failure detection and processing system, escape system, power supply and distribution system, ground test-launch-control system, launch site and integration assembly, and test and launch process flow. This standard is applicable to LV development, including design, manufacture, test and launch, etc.
