This standard specifies the quality criteria of insulating oils for transformer and circuit breaker in service. This standard is applicable to supervision of mineral insulating oils in electrical equipments such as transformer and circuit breaker. This standard is not applicable to the mineral oils as impregnant used in cables and capacitors.
